New Bumper, new fog lights

I recently bought a new bumper for my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.  However, the new bumper does not have a place for the fog lights to fit.  So while looking at reviews of the bumper on youtube I seen where you connected new light to the factory switch.  Could you explain how you did that because I am looking to do the same thing? Do i need a specific light? Thanks

You just cut the factory end off and wire the Lights straight in. I used some adapters that came with my lights to make them plug and play
